Along the trails of the park are many shear drop-offs and bluffs that reveal the layers of rock and provokes thoughts on geological time and the history of the land that far outstrips the span of human existence. The different types of rock are more or less resistant to the force of the pounding waves and erode into fascinating shapes and shear flakes of stone. |
