VISION
Mushaboom Design endeavours to create colourful designs and patterns inspired by the world around us and incorporate them into wall coverings and textiles that blend seamlessly into a wide range of interiors.
Newly advanced technologies such as digital printing have dismantled the old paradigm of mass production and enabled mass customization.
This allows us to work true to our honest artistic interests and work closely with clients on individual needs rather than focus on large volume work needed to justify production costs of traditional manufacturing methods.
We strive to create a new business model for pattern and textile design and manufacturing based on distributed networks rather than large centralized facilities in order to reduce business risks such as large inventories, shipping costs, and foreign currency and import policy fluctuations.
Sustainability is a inherent part of this new business model through creating durable products, choosing recycled and recyclable materials where possible, reduced sampling and inventory, reduced shipping, reduced water consumption, and avoiding chemicals and processes harmful to human health.
Each Mushaboom Design collection should come as a result of an honest creative project rather than a marketing story and should generate both design products and art projects in a mutually supportive fashion.
